The best machine ever created. The dry wall lifter!

the old dry wall is down & new insulation is up
the hardest thing to do is lift a sheet of dry wall over ones head.
after using miracle machine
mike my partner in dust is modeling the marvelous machine.my dad came up with the miracle machine that makes it possible.  we rent it so we don't need to store it. hopefully this is the last time we will need it. Having the dry wall has made a 20'f difference than without it

The next stage I've papered the seams with fiberglass tape started the first layer of filling the holes, I'm thinking the whole wall will need a plaster coat. i want to do a sun bas relief insert over the door just haven't figured out how yet. Next I'll do the cut and screw up the last bits of dry wall between the windows and get to work seriously mudding the rest if the walls. a layer of primer and paint and I'm back to being a finishing carpenter.

getting things done in fits & spurts

we had a detour in the house repairs
we pulled off part of the new roof
and replaced boards and then resealed it
and replaced more siding

the new roof is all done.
the new siding is primed,
up and has a final coat
just in time for winter.

It looks quiet and calm
on the outside...

Inside we're got most of the dry wall put up. today we rented the dry wall lift  to put the last bits on the ceiling.

tomorrow I'll put up the last little
bits and start doing the mudding of the seams.
